SnapshotCM Command Descriptions

SnapshotCM commands are organized into four classes:

Workspace Commands

• wci(1) - check in and create new files and directories
• wco(1) - check out files and directories into a workspace
• wdiff(1) - display differences between file revisions
• wdump(1) - display file state and status information
• whist(1) - display change history for files or directories
• wls(1) - list files and directories in a snapshot
• wmap(1) - create or modify a workspace to snapshot mapping
• wmerge(1) - merge parallel changes into a workspace file
• wremove(1) - remove files and empty directories
• wrename(1) - rename files and directories
• wset(1) - change attributes on files and directories
• wupdate(1) - update a workspace with snapshot changes

Snapshot Commands

• ssadmin(1) - freeze/unfreeze snapshot and set description
• sscompare(1) - display differences between snapshots
• sscopy(1) - copy a release snapshot
• sscreate(1) - create a new snapshot
• sslist(1) - list snapshots and snapshot properties
• sspromote(1) - copy changes from a child snapshot to its parent
• ssremove(1) - permanently delete projects or snapshots
• ssrename(1) - rename a project or snapshot
• ssupdate(1) - copy changes between snapshots

Graphical User Interface Command

• truecm(1)- Start the SnapshotCM graphical user interface

Administration Commands

• cmaccount(1)- create/view/modify SnapshotCM
• cmacl(1)- view/modify SnapshotCM access control lists
• cmadmin(1) - perform routine SnapshotCM database administration operations
• cmarchive(1) - move a project between SnapshotCM databases
• cmconfig(1) - perform database configuration operations
• cmconfig(1) - check a database for problems
